The Legal framework applicable to the information society: a synthesis under European, French and Belgian law

by Franklin Dehousse, Thibault Verbiest, Tania Zgajewski

The purpose of this book is twofold:

  • Providing an up-to-date and to-the-point synthesis of the legal framework applicable to the so-called information society, such as: audiovisual, electronic communications, electronic commerce, etc.;
  • Pointing out the challenges that could arise as a consequence of the technological evolution, notably concerning all individual’s fundamental rights, and the way to regulate the borderless digital world.

The book was written keeping in mind that the reader is looking for clear explanations and exploitable solutions. It is therefore a perfect book for students and non-legal professionals, as well as for the legal professionals without a deep knowledge of this ever moving sector.

This book is focused on European, Belgian and French law, but it also tackles some aspects of the regulations applicable in Luxemburg, Switzerland and Canada.

The book is written in French.
